About Me

I’m Victoria Swanson and I’ve had pets all my life. The unconditional love and acceptance that dogs give holds a special place in my heart. I’m a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and have earned a certification through a dog training program. I’ve been training dogs since 1987, professionally since 2004 as “Good Little Dog.” I am was also frequent contributor on WZZM13 Take Five & Company morning show providing invaluable information for pet owners.

At age 13 I trained our cockapoo, Pepper (who was 12 years old), with lots of treats and praises. Her great manners shown through for the rest of her years with us. Dogs live in the moment, and I’ve learned that dogs can be an important teacher to us. We just need to open our eyes to see the lessons. I believe all dogs should have the opportunity to let their manners shine through, and I can help you and your “good little dog” achieve that!

I’m excited to share my expertise and experience with pets in my blog. I hope these help you and your dog have the best relationship possible!

I currently live in the Grand Rapids area with my two children (Jake and Ahnna) and our wonderful furry family members which include; two cats, Casey and Oliver and our two dogs; Romeo (Pomeranian) and Izzy (Mini Dachshund).
